Inspired by the free spirit movement of the kites, the collection imbibes the colourful optimistic metaphor of the Patang. The city skyline comes alive with specks of colours flying at the break of a new dawn at the onset of spring.
Patang's colour palette is drawn from the colour-filled skies, and the energy it exuberates. The shades of greens are a reflection of the new beginnings perceived from the season's new yield, oranges and reds speak of the warmth and love. Pinks and purples bring out the creative flow with the added balance to your senses.
The collection is designed with the resistant technique of shibori in rich colours. The motifs and patterns are a mix of blooms to bring in the on setting spring. The ensembles are a mix of fusion and classic silhouettes. Each outfit is made of finest silk that feels light and gives movement. From free-flowing capes and skirts to modern asymmetrical tunics and pleated kurtas, we have given a contemporary approach to occasion wear. The collection also features our two tone layered organza dupattas with marodi embroidery buttas which gives an ethereal contrast to the overall rich palette.
